What I’m Reading This Week

I read! I try to read. I don’t know why reading is the end all be all in terms of being a fulfilled human being. I agree that reading for sure stimulates your brain and is good for you (this is all VERY scientific), but I do believe that for some people they simply just don’t enjoy reading. I personally like it. I like holding a fresh book and learning something new or random (usually a key for me to enjoying a book is it having something to teach me). I also think podcasts are an amazing thing to do if your not into reading, or watching documentaries or listening to books on tape or going to museums (I do all of these except listen to books on tape bc the people who read them sound psychotic). Anyways I guess I just wanted to say that some people like reading and some people don’t and thats cool with me. So here is what I am reading.

The Sun The Moon and The Rolling Stones

If you don’t know this about me I am a huge fan of classic rock. In particular I have a weird obsession with, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith and Mötley Crüe. I bought three different books about them, and I am slowly working my way through the list but I just finished this one and I loved it. Its all told threw the eyes of a reporter who spent a lot of time with the stones throughout the years. The stories are pretty amazing and sometimes even unbelievable. Totally recommend if you have any interest in wild lives of rock band members.

Lets Pretend That Never Happened

This is by far the funniest book I have ever read. I just think everyone would think it is funny. I can’t think of one person who would find humor in this book. Its a collection of insane stories from her childhood all the way through adulthood and they are just brilliant. If you are looking for something really light, but still really good, this is an awesome choice.

So this is what i’m reading this week. What about you?
